A quiet moment...

AH.... It's a quiet moment around my house right this minute. Now how long that will last I'm not sure. But I am taking it in an enjoying it SOOOOO much. Logan is in his bed resting and Landon is sleeping. I have my windows open and listening to the birds. If only I had a few more of these minutes for myself. That kind of sounds selfish. But giving 24/7 care to a 6 year old special needs child that is totally dependant and a new baby... I NEED a minuite!

OK that lasted literally 2minutes before my little refluxing guy started fussing. I'll come back to blogging in awhile...

It's been about 5 minutes & I'm back. Landon is now in my arms and the phone has rang twice. One call was my husband asking about dinner. It is friday so I'm thinking take out! I have some how managed to cook meals every night this week. So tonight I won't feel so bad. I did see the clock EVERY hour last night & have dusted the house in between feeding every 2 to 3 hours for BOTH boys. (Logan is tube fed every 3 hours.) done a load of laundry, Logan's homeschool & I know I've changed at least 15 diapers since we got up this morning. I even got the beds made before noon. Landon is dressed and Logan has had his bath. That calls for a 5 minute blog break and take out don't you think?

This has been a pretty calm day for us. Logan hasn't been to gaggy & hasn't thrown any BIG fits. Landon has done great and I'm... well not really sure. I'm to tired to know.

I talk to my mom & she plans on comming up Tuesday. She is going to watch the boys so I can go to bible study with Jaimi. I am SO Excited!!! It's going to be a GREAT relief & will be great to fellowship with the women. I need that!

2 MONTHS OLD

Landon is already 2 months old. I can't believe how fast the time has flown by.
Labor day weekend was the first time he smiled at us. Now he is smiling all the time. He has giggled out 3 times and gets excited when we talk to him. Today when I talked to him he gave me the biggest smiles and started cooing at me. He is the sweetest little guy. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. Here are some... well alot of updated pics of our little man. I couldn't choose what pics to post so I added them all. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Here is Landon cooing to me today when I talked to him. I love it! He is so much fun!
I even got a picture of one of his smiles.

Sleeping babies always look sooooo sweet to me.
What a BIG boy sitting in brothers chair.
Another smile.
Logan is now able to sit unsupported in a chair. He has taken on being a big BOY in so many ways since Landon has been born. He has also learned to use gentle hands around his baby brother and is so wonderful with Landon.
Logan is patting Landon.
Landon was laying in the floor asleep and Logan came up and laid by him. It was really sweet. I hurried to grab the camera and captured these sweet photos.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this pic of them. I think I will get it blown up.
Anytime Landon starts crying Logan is right there to check on him. He has even motivated Logan to stand up and hold on. Look how big he looks standing up here. It is such a blessing for them to have each other.

Just another sweet picture of our little Landon.
Landon looks a lot like I did as a baby in this photo. John won't admit he looks like me. lol

Jackson loves to hold Landon and his sister. He is such a sweet little guy. We are so lucky to have such a great cousin and Jordan is lucky to have such a sweet brother.

Logan's first week of school...

Last Monday was Logan's first day of school... And for most moms kindergarten is a very hard day. Not for me, I was SO EXCITED!!!! It's my first year as a kindergarten teacher... YEP on top of being a Mommy, OT, PT, Speech therapist and nurse I'm taking on another job. A home school mom.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

It's really been a GREAT first week for us. I love homeschooling Logan and look forward to teaching him so many things. He has done so well and really seems to enjoy school. I have fixed up an area where we come to "school" everyday. He has been ready to learn and do projects I have planned for him.

This weeks theme was back to School.

Logan learned about the- Letter: A/ Color: RED/ Shape: Circle/ Counting 1-5

He had a review test this morning to see if he had learned what we had been working on. He passed! I was so proud of him. It was his FIRST test. He even got a sticker on his paper!

WAY TO GO LOGAN!!!!!

He also earned all the stickers on his self-help chart. The chart has tasks on getting ready for the day. He is currently working with me hand over hand to accomplish these task. Our goal is to get him doing these things on his own. Right now Logan is totally dependant on us for everything. We will work until we get there!

During the week Logan usually has therapy @ clinic 2 times a week. We are going to switch to doing all in-home therapies. Trying to home school and nursing a new baby it's almost next to impossible to go places during the day. I'm still trying to figure out how to push a wheelchair and carry a car seat with 2 bags.

The good thing about homeschooling is we can start the day still in our P.J's.Here is Logan doing one of his counting worksheets. He is learning to count #'s 1-5 .

He is working to hold on to his crayon and color. He is able to make marks on his page now on his own.
Here Logan is sitting at his school desk. UNASSISTED!!!!

Labor Day Weekend...

Labor Day weekend we went to Harrison. It was Landon's first trip. I wasn't sure how it was going to work out, but we had alot of fun and both boys did great! It was nice to spend time with our family. John and I were able to squeeze in some breaks with everyone ready to play with boys. Logan got to go to Grandma Debi and Papa's Saturday when we got there. I'm not sure who had more fun them or Logan. There were alot of firsts for Landon. Here are some pics...

Before we left town we stopped to get gas and we saw a road runner running across the parking lot. It was funny to me so I wanted to take a picture. John and Josh are always making fun of Jaimi and me for wanting to take pictures of stupid things to post on our blogs. We get a kick out of it. So this one is for you guys. HA. (Jaimi make sure you show this to Josh.)

Landon's first time to go to church. We went to my Moms church. This is were John and I got married. Priceless... First time to see Great Great Grandma Vaughn. That makes 5 generations! We went to the nursing home to visit her and she was so happy to see us. In this picture Landon looks alot like I did as a baby. Cousin Brandon feeding Landon. Him and his Brother Justin both ask to take Landon home with them. Cousin Justin feeding Landon. He ask to take Landon home with him. I ask him how he would be able to feed him since I was nursing.... He told me he had to Hefers that could make milk for him. We all laughed. Pictures of my children with their grandparents are one of my favorite things. They always look so sweet. First time Grandpa Bill held Landon.John and Logan doing the GUY stuff! They both were excited to go ride the 4-wheeler at my Uncle Brads. When they would stop to get off Logan would keep signing MORE MORE.
Uncle Brad has all the fun stuff~ Logan got to ride the 4-wheeler and Autumn's Horse. He had lots of fun.

Grandma's and Babies

They don't mind holding them, spoiling them and showing them off... Grandmas are the best! Growing up I was really close to my grandma (the one below) and I think my boys feel the same way. Jackson and Jordan too!

Jordan Kate Great Grandma Donna and Landon.

Great Grandma Donna and Logan.
Grandma Debi and Landon. He was so comfy in her arms. You can tell shes enjoying it as much as she is.

This is a really great piture of Grandma Debi and Landon.

Sleeping standing up...

I'm on a roll updating my blog post after post. I've had alot of updates just no time to get them posted. The boys are both napping. Landon in my arms and Logan in his BIG BOY bed!!! YEAH Logan!!!!!!!!!!! I had been working to get him to do this for so long but it never worked. My mom was here helping out and got him to crawl to his bed and lay down. Every since then he does it for me. THANKS MOM!
I'm not sure this is the right way but whatever works...
HA KIDS!

Landon's Bath

This was Landon's first time to take a bath in his BIG BOY bath tub.

He wasn't happy about it at first...

But after a few seconds.... He decided he really liked it!

He was just relaxing and enjoying his bath now.

BIG brother even came in to help out. Landon liked him being in there too. You can see Landon looking at Logan. They are so sweet together.

Bath time is over but I think Landon is already looking forward to the next bath in his tub.

just an update...

Well, I haven't had a chance to update in awhile. Now that I have two there is a lot less time for me to squeeze in things like .... My blog, sleep, a shower during the day, sleep, sitting down eating a meal, oh and did I mention SLEEP?!!!! I feel like I'm in a constant fog & can't focus. When I talk I don't even make since 1/2 the time. I just say silly things.
Isn't it crazy how something so hard & exhausting can be so rewarding and wonderful! Yes being a Mommy! I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! GOD has giving me a job and blessed me with TWO amazing sweet perfect little boys. I am so happy he chose me to mother them. What a BLESSING!
Logan will be starting his home school program on Monday. We have lots of fun things planned for the year and many goals set we hope to accomplish. I wasn't able to buy a program to fit his needs so I created one. It seems like it is going to work out well and I 'm excited to see how much he is able to gain from it.

Landon is doing GREAT and getting so big very fast. He is now out of preemie and newborn clothes and into 0-3 months. I had no idea they grew so fast! Logan stayed in the same sizes for alot longer. Not complaining it's a good thing! He is starting to smile at us when we talk to him and make eye contact. He LOVES to eat! Logan really enjoys having his little brother. I think they will always be very close to one another.

Here are some pics...
