Updates from October...

I have had a really hard time finding the time to update my blog. Here are updates from the month of October.

We went to Mrs. Rebecca's pumpkin patch. It was set up so cute.

I love this picute of John and Logan. They were picking out a baby pumpkin for Landon.

As you can see in this picture, Logan was able to sit on the bike without any support. He has gained so much trunk control. YEA Logan!!!

What a fun silly picture!

Logan and his daddy. Don't John and Logan look so much alike?

Here is Landon and little graffie. It's a perfect carseat toy. It chimes and has little taggies on it. He loves it. It's the cutest little toy.

Landon is able to hold his head up really well now when he is on his tummy. Doesn't he look so handsome?

Yep he's already 3 months old. WOW how time flies!

He's able to sit up well in his bumbo seat. I love the BUMBO.

Jackson and Logan at Cubbies.

Mr. Bobbie was giving Logan stickers for saying his verse and doing his workbook. Jackson was helping Logan put his stickers in his workbook. Thank you Jackson for all your help. Logan is so lucky to have such a GREAT cousin. Good Job Logan for working so hard in Cubbies. I know you make Jesus smile!

This is Logan's favorite time at cubbies... MUSIC. He loves music!

This is a funny story... For Halloween we got Logan a fireman costume. I was going to dress Landon up like a dalmation but couldn't find a costume. So I was tring to come up with something that would match Logan. This is an outfit that was on Logan's selfhelp dress me doll Eddie. You know the dolls that you tie, button, zip, buckle ect. So I tried the outfit on Landon. It was snugg & I knew since we still had about 3 weeks til halloween it wouldn't fit. I couldn't resist not taking some pics. He was just too cute.
I don't have little girls to dress up but I've still found ways to have fun dressing up my boys! lol

Landon has Binky, Graffie and his Razorback hat and he's ready to go.

I had all my dining chairs moved from round the table so I could sweep and mop. Logan kept crawling around and around and around the table. He had so much fun and it was a good 10 minuites worth of entertainment.

We were decorating a pumpkin for cubbies. Logan was patting on playdough to make his pumpkin look like a fish bowl.

He was having lots of fun decorating his pumpkin.

Logan gave me such a GREAT smile in this picture.

Logan acts like the five little monkeys jumping on the bed... He even falls off sometimes and bumps his head. silly Logan. BOYS will be BOYS! ha.

FALL...

Fall and Christmas are my favorite times of year. The fall colors are my favorite. The smell of candles and yummy soups, ciders and desserts... carmel apples are the best! I always want to make a pumpkin cheesecake roll and never do... but this year I think I'm going to. I love driving down the road with the leaves falling & looking at all the trees. God's creations are so beautiful!
Anyone have any yummy fall recipies? (soups, drinks, desserts ect.)

Cubby Cheeks...

Our little Landon is getting chubby cheeks. As you can tell he likes to eat! I'm guessing he weighs about 9lbs. now. What a CHUNK! I love to cuddle with him. He's so cushy! He's a little show off for the camera. I get it out and start taking pictures and he starts smiling and cooing. It's really cute.
Aww... He's just so sweet.
He's such a blessing to us.Pictures are something you can't have to many of.
babies... babies... babies... I jus love em!

School days...

Logan is doing so well with school. He especially enjoys doing arts and crafts. Last week we did the "fall" theme. We decorated the house and Logan helped out. Here are a few of his projects... Logan finger painted these beautiful leaves. Everyday I hang up the craft he makes on our back door. When John gets home Logan is so excited to show his daddy what he has made. John gets all excited and Logan smiles from ear to ear. It's the cutest thing! Here are some of the other things Logan has been working on...

Logan is holding up a little mini book he made of squares. He was proud of himself.
He filled up his sticker chart. We are working on self help skills. This is a GREAT book for little ones. Logan got this last week for doing such a good job on his school work. Who said learning can't be fun! We work on fine motor skills/pincer grasp, textures, and counting with this book. They can fill in the missing spots with real cheerios. What fun! Logan can pull up to stand and walk along the couch on his own now. YEA Logan. He is getting that much closer to walking.
This week our theme is pumpkins. We went on a pumpkin hunt around our house counting all the pumpkins. Logan had #'s 1-6 on pieces of paper, He was walking with his walker and when we came to a pumpkin I handed him the # and he put it beside the "ORANGE" pumpkin. Orange was our color for the week. We did 4 things in one with this fun game. We have so much fun learning. Logan had a blast!

This project was a great sensory project. Logan was able to tolerate the glue and tissue paper for about a minute and then started gagging. Later when John got home Logan went show him the project he made and just going up to it made him start gagging again.
He did a really good job.
Logan was really funny with this pumpkin. After I hung it up he would go up to it and get face to face looking at it's eyes. I told him the pumpkin was looking at him.
He is an A+ student!

A quiet moment...

AH.... It's a quiet moment around my house right this minute. Now how long that will last I'm not sure. But I am taking it in an enjoying it SOOOOO much. Logan is in his bed resting and Landon is sleeping. I have my windows open and listening to the birds. If only I had a few more of these minutes for myself. That kind of sounds selfish. But giving 24/7 care to a 6 year old special needs child that is totally dependant and a new baby... I NEED a minuite!

OK that lasted literally 2minutes before my little refluxing guy started fussing. I'll come back to blogging in awhile...

It's been about 5 minutes & I'm back. Landon is now in my arms and the phone has rang twice. One call was my husband asking about dinner. It is friday so I'm thinking take out! I have some how managed to cook meals every night this week. So tonight I won't feel so bad. I did see the clock EVERY hour last night & have dusted the house in between feeding every 2 to 3 hours for BOTH boys. (Logan is tube fed every 3 hours.) done a load of laundry, Logan's homeschool & I know I've changed at least 15 diapers since we got up this morning. I even got the beds made before noon. Landon is dressed and Logan has had his bath. That calls for a 5 minute blog break and take out don't you think?

This has been a pretty calm day for us. Logan hasn't been to gaggy & hasn't thrown any BIG fits. Landon has done great and I'm... well not really sure. I'm to tired to know.

I talk to my mom & she plans on comming up Tuesday. She is going to watch the boys so I can go to bible study with Jaimi. I am SO Excited!!! It's going to be a GREAT relief & will be great to fellowship with the women. I need that!

2 MONTHS OLD

Landon is already 2 months old. I can't believe how fast the time has flown by.
Labor day weekend was the first time he smiled at us. Now he is smiling all the time. He has giggled out 3 times and gets excited when we talk to him. Today when I talked to him he gave me the biggest smiles and started cooing at me. He is the sweetest little guy. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. Here are some... well alot of updated pics of our little man. I couldn't choose what pics to post so I added them all. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Here is Landon cooing to me today when I talked to him. I love it! He is so much fun!
I even got a picture of one of his smiles.

Sleeping babies always look sooooo sweet to me.
What a BIG boy sitting in brothers chair.
Another smile.
